Gen-Z for Change leverages the power of social media, advocacy, and code to drive tangible progressive change on-the-ground. We educate our audiences on issues that range from climate to reproductive justice and direct audiences to ways they can directly be part of the solution using our digital advocacy tools. By building simple, effective tools and fostering strong relationships with creators, organizers, and lawmakers, we’re dedicated to educating and empowering our generation in the fight to preserve our democracy.

Our Reach

FIGHT

FIGHT

FIGHT (PODER) is a bilingual toolkit in English and Spanish designed to support immigrants under the Trump administration amidst mass deportations.

The toolkit includes resources for crowdfunding immigrant rights organizations, informing immigrants of their rights, getting out the vote for leaders who support progressive immigration policies, holding institutions that target immigrants accountable, and encouraging Latinos and non-Latinos alike to get involved in the “fight” (pun intended).

We produced 44 videos and posts that reached over 3 million views—breaking down the importance of knowing your rights, supporting your community, and holding institutions accountable. We raised $7,000+ for immigrant rights groups and sent over 44,000 emails demanding institutional accountability to airlines assisting deportation.

Gen-Z For Palestine

Gen-Z For Palestine

Our tax dollars have been used to fund the genocide and illegal occupation in Palestine. The first step in ending these atrocities is a permanent ceasefire.  We launched freepalestine.tools, which allowed people to download an apple shortcut to send auto-generated emails to their representatives in Congress urging for a ceasefire in Gaza. Since then, we've sent over 445 million emails to members of the House and Senate.

SAFER

SAFER

The fall of Roe vs. Wade left people in abortion ban states without a safe option for abortion.

SAFER is an acronym for Spamming the reviews of crisis pregnancy centers, Assisting abortion seekers through volunteering, Funding a split ActBlue of 50 abortion funds nationwide, Educating friends and family about the details of the decision, and Registering to vote for pro-choice leaders.

Notably, after having our tool shut down by Yelp and Google Reviews, our team worked with Yelp to add a consumer notice to all listed CPCs noting that they don’t provide abortions. Also, our Gen-Z for Choice fund raised over $2,400,000.

Labor Over Likes

Labor Over Likes

During the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, creators across social media were offered payment to promote stuck work on their platforms.

In coordination with SAG-AFTRA and WGA, Gen-Z for Change launched Labor Over Likes, a solidarity pledge refusing to promote struck work for the duration of the strike and abide by SAG-AFTRA’s Influencer Guidance.
